Why isn't Ascella showing under available platforms?

Hi all, I’m a student researcher who signed up to Quandela Cloud last year and have had access (& used) the Ascella QPU remotely. I recently introduced two of my fellow students/researchers to Quandela Cloud and they both signed up this week. However, on their accounts only 7 platforms show as available whereas on mine 10 platforms show - they are missing qpu:altair (decomissioned so not an issue), sim:ascella and qpu:ascella. The problems/circuits I shared with them to explore are specifically designed to work on Ascella (hardcoded phase shifter indices etc.) so they are wondering why this isn’t showing up as an option for them and when they try to run code calling qpu:ascella it comes up with the following error:

HTTPError: No permission to use platform qpu:ascella

Is Ascella access no longer given by default once someone signs up for a personal/Explorer account? I tried to help them myself but I’m not overly familiar with the platform and the code seems to run for me but just not for either of them.

Also, on a related note, for the Explorer (free) subscription, do the 200 credits reset on the 1st day of each month or does it depend when you used them in the month prior?

Hello,
Access to QPU Ascella and its simulator have been granted again to explorer accounts, your colleagues should check their tokens has access to the platform if needed and it should work.

Hello,
They’ve both confirmed that they have access now - thanks!
